Geoff and Mario were best friends & roommates at UC Davis school of Veterinary Medicine.
After graduating in 2007, their careers took them to opposite ends of the country - Geoff to Pennsylvania and Mario to the foothills of California.

Through years of dedication, Geoff and Mario became highly skilled practitioners, supportive mentors, and successful practice owners. Despite the distance, their shared passion for veterinary medicine and commitment to animal welfare kept them connected.
A SHARED FRUSTRATION:
Exam Room Inefficiencies
As they honed their skills, Geoff and Mario encountered a common obstacle: exam room inefficiency. Discussions between the two revealed a shared concern over inconsistent wellness messaging and the outdated educational tools available to their teams.
CLIENTS WAIT
UNATTENDED
Clients waste time on their phones when they're left unattended in the exam rooms waiting for the veterinarian to start the exam.
THE VET'S TIME IS LIMITED
It's difficult to find time to cover all of the preventative wellness topics with each and every pet owner.
REPETITIVE MESSAGING
The burnout feeling of going over the same topics over and over again - flea, tick, heartworm, intestinal parasites, importance of imaging tests, bloodwork, etc.
INCONSISTENT MESSAGING
Despite support staff training, there was a lack of uniform messaging to clients.

Something was Missing
Geoff and Mario combined their insights and experiences and realized there was a critical lack of modern educational tools to explain disease to clients. Motivated by their desire to make a positive impact on pet care, they got to work on a solution that would deliver better educational messaging to pet owners at scale.
New Technology
